Let me try again..kouki 180sx in the usa part 2.
Okay so i had built a "kouki" or "type x" whatever you wanna call it before. I finished it and a month later i sold it. this car was pretty much built off of my car before that i got in an accident with, so i guess this is actually my third try..
First chasiss: then someone did this to me while texting and driving. Second: Sold the second one about a month after i put it together because My ex did all the body work and helped out alot on the car and it had to much emotional attachment and i really needed to get rid of it...seems really stupid, but i feel like it was best at the time. now it is somewhere with overfenders and painted grey.. >_< ______________________________________ Anyways onto this new chassis i just picked up. Picked it up without the wheels off my buddy. NEO RB25DET from a 99'-01' R34 Nissan Skyline. Syko Performance swap kit Mishimoto aluminum radiator w/ dual electric fans Walbro 255 fuel pump XS power downpipe JIC spartan full titanium race exhaust($1200, 11lbs)Baaallller Custom wiring Mckinny 1 piece driveshaft New KG1 (silver blue metallic) paint job K-Sport Coilovers STRI Guages(Boost, Water Temp, Oil Press) S14 Seats J30 Tach/Speedo Buddy bought the car, got it caged. Cage is painted, next up is tommorow im gonna lay the carpet down, install the seats and start triming some interior panels. hopefully i can fit some. this cage is tight. also repolished this intercooler piping and painted the valve covers gunmetal, they where black and all chipped up. Installed a blitz oil cap as well. |

I never said i liked them! lol. I just wanted a damn s13 again..I am surprised at the power of a "stockish" rb...all it has is headgasket head studs, coil packs and exhaust.

I'm not literally comparing them. He's shocked at how good it feels. All he has owned is sr's. I was just saying he shouldn't be surprised. It's going to feel awesome compared to an sr. Duh it's an rb. So thanks bro! Glad you could contribute to the thread. |

Didn't get the car with it..Shit i wish i had it.
Anyway i put the carpet and most of the interior in that i have. Still have to trim a few more panels. but any interior that went back in was sprayed with OEM trim paint, looks like brand new. not all corny and armoralled look though. like a nice oem finish. Ill have pics up tommorow. Also found out the car has 2 different brand spark plugs in it. Second mistake i found that the previous shop that had been working on it made..first the oil filter fell off cause they used the wrong one, now it has 5 autolites and 1 ngk..gonna ditch them all and run all ngks. Also turned out that the power steering pump i purchased off ebay was brand new, so i installed that. Installed the ISIS high pressure line, now i just need to make a low pressure line and get a res, and a belt. Also these should ship tommorow, the silver pair. Super excited on them. Need to source a bumper, valances and get my wing painted. |

LOL, Im not gay. Mainly has been my self and my brother and two friends. Uploading pictures now.
Today i installed the isis arm kit in the rear and the five lug swap, as well as replaced the spark plugs, she runs really good now, no random misfiring like before..(car had 2 ngk and 4 autolites..) |

Side skirts came..they are the wrong color...pretty mad. guy told me they where silver. and they are champagne, and like spray painted..making a claim now..i passed up alot of other cheaper sets, because i was told these where coming the same color as my car and in mint condition.
anyways, i got rid of the rb25. Went back to an SR20, a motor i know much much better. And is way more reliable then then NEO for me. so i picked up a fresh redtop from Elite JDM in philadelphia, pa. Motor has a new oil pump, water pump, gasket kit, act stage 3 clutch, flywheel, precision bov, hks intake, a bunch of goodies. except for a t28, currently tuned for 12lbs. need to get rid of this sohc throttle cable..Not bad looking for being done in a few hours. First night i took the car out, with the rb25..It overheated, a coolant line bursted, and the idle kept acting up, randomly shutting off. i hated my life. Next up is to lower the car alot more. get my skirts and wing painted. window visors purchased.. along with origin sidemarkers(180 style with bump) |

swap was bone stock when purchased in 2010,i got it off a close friend who babied it. aka not a drifter fag, he ran stock exhaust, stock intake, stock side mount and all. hes done an oil pump, water pump, gaskets, and pretty much redid the whole motor. and it is way more reliable then a rb25 neo with a super hacked up harness and constantly over heating and idled like it had cams...needed something so i acted fast.
