Post Your Fuel Supply Setups - External Pumps/Surge Tanks/Etc
Post your S13/S14/Etc fuel supply setups!
I'm trying to plan my fuel supply setup on my track car and wanted to see what other people are doing to see if there's something I missed or getting ideas for mounting everything up! So far my plan is going with a factory fuel tank (S14) with a 465lph Walbro in tank pump for lifting the fuel to a surge tank (filter before surge tank) which will have another walbro internal pump that will send fuel to the fuel rail that has ID1300s. I'll be running E54/Flex Fuel controlled by an AEM Infinity. Any constructive feedback is appreciated. To save cost and for the ideal placement, I won't be running a fuel cell, but the factory fuel tank. I'm interested in seeing what other people do. So even if it's an S13, post up!

Very nice! What sort of injectors will you be feeding with this setup? Did you use .375" OD .028" wall stainless hard line?

If I remember correctly, bare aluminum has some issues with E85 (acidic corrosion). Did you coat the lines?

from what i have read, its not necessarily the E85, its when the E85 is contaminated with water, then it can become corrosive. i have enough braided e85 compatible hose to remake those lines if need be.

Yeah, one way to fight water contamination is to just keep the fuel system as full as possible when not in use.

I have a few questions regarding going flex fuel in a 1JZ S14 with AEM V2.
1.) Are the factory gas tank, fuel pump hanger, and fuel level float good enough for E85? 2.) Which type of pump should I run that's E85 compatible? Internal or external? Is a surge tank necessary? 3.) What size injectors do I need to run if I'll be jumping between pump 91 and E85? I currently have SARD 650cc injectors and I'm sure that won't be enough. 4.) Will -6AN and 3/8" aluminum lines be good enough for fuel delivery and return?
