Never done one of these before so here it is. I had this car for almost 2 years now i'll put pictures of whats been done over 2 years and whats currently going on. This is my purely drift car have driven it on street lil while but mostly track car. Been to 4 events with is so far.
This is what i traded for it lol and what got me started drifting. s14a sr20 european spec 5 lug swaped front z32 brakes unknown fmic koyo rad freshly painted pretty clean and straight now the swap was not clean at all ghetto wire job wires hanging everywhere exposed just shitty whole harness was pulled and redone the right way battery moved to trunk got rid of all unwanted wires and heater core. next was pbm solid rear subframe bushings welded diff got some used but like new stance coils from a member on here my lil helper helping with corbeau seat mounted to the floor im 6'1" needed all the clearance possible so made my own bracket sit almost on the floor this was my second even had alot of issues with car running hot as i would think found out latter it was only bad gauge had alot of steering wobble at full lock due to tie rod overcentering https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoZ5sTcxGf0 since the event i got some v3 gktech knuckles and some offset rack spacers with oem type tie rods here is what i am working on at the moment extending lcas 1.5" notching them and boxing i know i did it backwards i boxed in the arms than i notched them oh well this was my first fab job turned out pretty good. the tape on the floor was angle before the knuckles and extended lca's i like only have one side done i dont have alot of time. |
