HELP!!! ok what fuel sending unit did you use for your swap? Can you use the factory KA one? I could not find an answer to this and read like 3 different diys
I am curious cause I am using this dash in my SR20DET swapped ae86 and trying to figure out how to get the digital gas gauge to read off my tank? the AE86 has a digital sensor I can swap to but it is toyota, so I am not sure if it will work, but if the KA fuel sending unit does I can swap one into my car!!! PLEASE ANYONE HELP!!!! |

Is there an adjustment screw on the back of the nx cluster like the stock s13 cluster has to adjust/calibrate the speedometer??? I reset my stock cluster speedometer so that it would read normal with my 4.36 gears... But i just picked up one of these NX Clusters for 75$ so now i need to figure out at solution to correct the speed again. Any ideas anyone?

I dont know if it would be noticable from the back. On my s13 cluster i had to remove the speedo from the cluster... Locate the adjustment screw... Then drill a hole in the cluster housing so i could adjust the speedometer while its plugged into the car. Im pretty sure it didnt adjust the odometer though... That still reads incorrectly i think... But the speedo was spot on afterwards. Reguardless i was hoping someone would know if theres an adjustment for this cluster, or an alternative to making the speedometer read right with 4.36:1 rear gears.

sorry to bring this thread from the dead. on the numerous write-ups ive searched, the all mention the 3 main plugs NX1600 yellow/white/and black plug. the plug that im talking about is the one that is held down by a screw in the back of the cluster itself.
the plug is connected to a black box. the wires that come out of it are red/black ( clock signal ) and green/white ( is this wire used or unused ) the write ups do not mention this specific wire at all? |

I actually have a rb25 myself. the weird thing is my speedo works on my stock hud cluster, and so does my tach (even though it's off by 1.5k).

really? did you use the rb speed sensor or the z32 na speed sensor? i was just gonna use dakota digital converter boxes but i need to see how the digi cluster is going to react to the tach and speed when I drive it. Check out my IG and you can see a picture I put up of it @thatrhd240

so I really have a problem guys. the fucking diagrams are confusing and this has became a cluster fuck. heres my problem. the diagrams don't describe the plugs in detail on the 240SX side. on the pulsar side they seem to be accurate.
my 240 has 1-big black plug and 1-small black plug -1 big white plug. the diagrams say 2 white plugs(I only have one white plug). and here is the diagram I used.

That's odd you have 2 black plugs. But, if you look at where the plug goes into the cluster, you can see what each pin is for on the circuit board on the back of the cluster. By doing that, you can sort out which plug should be the other white one. Kinda like a map.
