Rb25 Neo, still overheating w/Drifting

This is ridiculous.... I need to open up and talk to more experienced builders...

I live in the Caribbean so we are a hot country but god damn how am i still heating up lol. After 2-3 runs im hitting 230-240 f.... cools off in 2-3 mins but still, i find this so baffling....

This is a typical run: https://www.instagram.com/p/BroA9JDDUz1/

Cooling setup:
Radiator: https://www.mishimoto.com/mishimotor...-radiator.html
Fan: Flex-a-lite 180 Black Magic X-treme i think its around 3200 cfm
It hugs the whole radiator and seals great.

* Engine: on the water neck, the one that houses the thermostat, it has a small hose that used to go to the heater i think, its sealed off. In my engine water goes in on the top from the rad, water comes out of the bottom neck to the rad, no other hoses are involved. Rear water port below the intake manifold is blocked off.
Could this be messing up something?

* Nismo thermostat
* Car has undertray covering the bottom of bashbar setup and ends with the radiator
* Hood has a vent, and its raised a bit
* Engine has oil restrictors, 1 blocked off, Tomei oil pump, baffled sump, enlarged oil returns.
* Big oil cooler up front (ebay)
* Running Methanol/Water mix after 14 psi
* 100 octane fuel
* 480hp @ 22 psi from a HE351 Holset Turbo

Im stumped i dont know what else to do or check...

Get rid of the Mishimoto. I don't know much about RB temps, but I have known people with similar SR setups having cooling issues with Mishimotos compared to the Koyo N-Flo I have.

rb temps should be 78c-90c. 90c being driving it hard anything higher closer to the 100c i would pull over and let the motor cool down. try waterwetter as well get rid of the mishi go if a KA or RB KOYO RAD and get a clutch fan... shit will never go over 82c crusing and 95c driving at the track...

How sure are you that your temp gauge is correct?

I have a cheap radiator and some ebay fans. N1 T-sat and water pump.

I have one port blocked off also but I left the stock restrictor for the VVT and other port.

I only need the fans on in traffic but cruising I see about 80c.

Maybe you have some air trapped in the system? I had an issue bleeding mine but it is fine now.

RB cooling is the biggest downfall, alongside oil management.

+1 for go back to clutch fan.

something is seriously wrong if you're running 100oct, AND water meth and youre still getting that hot

unless your ambient temps are 100+ and humid, which i'm not discounting since you said you live in the carribean
