Are there any diagrams with measurements online as to exactly where it would be mounted from the factory, or do you guys just mount them wherever it looks good?
I am assuming the kouki wing does not share any bolt holes with the 89-93 SE spoiler, or does it? |

nope, the kouki wing doesn't share bolt holes with the stock spoiler.
just get the wing less cuz the kouki wing doesn't cover up all the stock holes. and i mounted the wing where it look right to me and make sure that it sit even on each side

Measuring is your friend.
Don't want to install by eyeballing then have it sitting all retarded. |

Was thinking about lowering my car some more, but even with the lip mounted properly onto the front bumper, there's less than an inch of clearance on the ground.
Fuck that. Haha. |

i mounted my wing today. it was such a bitch. it sucks cause there is no way to get to the screws from underneath the hatch. i sawed some openings so it wouldn't be such a bitch each time i wanted to take it off.
crimson why does it look like your lip sits lower than the rest? |

It's not mounted properly.
The old white bumper had holes for the stuby parts and was fully bolted on. Now that i've got two new bumpers, neither have holes for the lip(and don't plan on making any). It's just mocked up against the bumper. |

Got pics with the lip installed before its destroyed at the first drift event.
Someone other than modicrap really needs to start selling a knockoff lip.

question/clarification
do you guys pronounce kouki (ku-kee)? because im pretty sure that's fucking WRONG. Thats how I hear 90% of people say it. Its pronounced (koh-ki) right? |

the only time i use these stupid terms, is when i have a dumb us-spec kid calling me on the phone. its usually not a Z, G35, or GTR owner... its a fucking 240 guy.
they start off rambling "kouki tails" or something, blah blah.. and i just reply yeah 96-98 tails. i mean i guess i could use the terms myself, and be like a jay-dee-emm fanboy of sorts, but i think thats stupid. i dont tell my friends "hey bros, lets hit the touge with our koukis" i mean, how fucking retarded does that sound. 96-98. 89-90. 91-94. thats all thats needed to have a proper discussion with any 240 enthusiast, worldwide. |

wow, my 4 years of japanese in high school might pay off for once haha.
the "proper way" (based on how its spelled and how the japanese characters pronounce it) its "ko-u-ki" but more fluid when you say it. so yeah, hope that helps randomly in the future? heh |
