OEM Re-Bar vs Bash Bar questions
I got into a front end accident, converted to jdm kouki front
frame rails are fine and all but one of the studs for the oem rebar is pushed in on one side so my buddy and i are gonna fix it to fit the bar on. and fix all the gaps in the body work etc. However, I started looking at bash bars and realized how light they are, I was looking at the Street Faction Bash Bar with corner bracing http://www.frsport.com/Street-Factio...p_1179719.html Questions: (assuming we fix the stud and it fits) Is it just as strong as oem? Will it support the bumper just like oem? How much lighter is it than stock? I don't plan on getting into another accident but safety is my first priority...or atleast it should be.... Are the weight savings worth it? |
