look at this pathetic display
http://i.b5z.net/i/u/1473169/f/Video/gto4.wmv they have the nerve to call this drifting. Like a stock 400hp GTO can't do this without a turbo.

I'm doing an open track event this weekend, and have been paired with a guy with a new GTO + STS setup...I'll get pics and impressions...will report back.
I think it's a neat idea...a lot of 'Silverado SS' guys (powered by what's basically an iron-block LS1, the LQ9) use this on their trucks, with good results, and BIG numbers. - Brian

also for the cali guys, they are trying to make these kits legal to add to any engine since it doesnt mess with the cat or any emissions devices. I thought that was pretty neato.

no, this was discussed on some other forums before, one of the guys that works for whatever company that is was talking about kits they put on the GTO, an Integra, and a whole bunch of SUVs, it was brought up that they were trying to get it CARB approved because it doesnt mess with emissions stuff.
The other advantages/disadvantages were mostly brought up the same as here, lag because of long piping, oiling system, but then there is no muffler needed, underhood temp is lower, no custom manifold, no i/c needed because the hotpipe is so long, and also, they said that the lag isn't bad at all because they size the turbo to accomodate for the long piping somehow, i didnt really get it, i thought it would have all kinds of lag.
