I see APEXi has 95-98 240sx listed on their application list for their intake. However, I have a 1990. I'd like to get the APEXi specifically because I hear their filter is really good. Will just an APEXi filter fit on my stock intake tube? Would I need a new tube? If so, is there a way just to buy an Injen tube w/o filter or can I just get the APEXi one to fit? Also - their site lists $188 as the price... that seems suspiciously low... that's a full intake right?

I believe you are right. The A'pexi cone filter only replaces the stock filter box. |

I have a Apexi filter. You get just that...a filter. No pipping. They are very loud filters!

I do not have one yet, but I will sometime soon. But anyway, susposedly you will gain 1-2 hp more than the K&N would give you. IMO if you plan on going turbo, get the Apexi b/c you won't need the piping anyway.

I get asked all the time abput my exhaust all the time. Funny thing is, I don't aftermarket exhaust, it's stock. I tell them that and the don't belive me. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

A full intake would be louder IMO. I have an Injen SRI and I wish I had some sound clips of it...its quite breathtaking... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
