Hey before i start i just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Austyn and I'm 17, I live in Reno, Nevada and i own 2 cars, my 1971 240z (my daily) and my 1989 240sx coupe.



I bought my 240z when i was 13 and has been my little project ever sense, but then about a year ago i found my sx.



when i got it, it had the single cam ka still in witch barely ran so i pulled the motor and found a jzx81 1jzgte for $900!



it didn't come with a transmission or ecu so i found myself a w58 for now and for a ecu I'm going with a AEM V2.
Right after i bought the motor i went and got a lot of parts from driftmotion.





I bought more parts like a water pump, timing belt, lightened pulleys, new slave cylinder and some other stuff i just forgot to take pictures of all of it.







After i got all my parts on i cleaned my engine bay and painted it
i forgot to take a before picture but heres primer



and paint



then i had to get the valve covers powder coated





this is pretty much it for now next week I'm probably going to get my wire harness and engine and tranny mounts. Then i can put the motor in!
