kinda wish i stuck with stock metal. my drivers quarter was pretty fucked up but still kind of wish i fixed it instead of doing the overs. oh well. and that s14 looks like ass. bad example

overfenders are pointless
buy wheels with correct offsets and you wouldn't have any problems in the first place s13 can fit a 10 inch wide rim on stock body with a little bit of work s14 can fit ridiculous sizes only car i think that ever looked good in over fenders is prob Siizzzoooo or Chmercer |

personally, I like the look of widebody. So that's why I'll do it. I don't give a shit about "ruining" good stock panels on my 240. If something happens I'll just pick up another shell and do it all over again.
I should clarify that I mean if something happens to the car itself, not fucking it up putting fenders on. (for the less intelligent) |

You can pull stock fenders about 15mm without it looking much different at all, I have done it. Heat and patience. Was kinda chapped when I put on my 20mm front overs and the wheels fit about the same. I could give a crap less about my 20yr old car--it was 50 bucks to begin with so why not cut the crap out of it, plus the way i put it to use its obvious its not gonna stay pristine for very long. If i had a pristine s14 kouki I would probably not hack it all up--unless of course i got it for an initial cost of 100 bucks or less. turns out i have a shitty S13 |

it's a pita and since going to fiberglass front fenders i still can only get my bumper to line up like 98% perfect BUT imo a full widebody on hatchs make them time less. it completley rejuvinates the car...so with that being said no, i dont regret them at all!

hello my secretary, have you gotten the papers ready for my meeting? No, okay if you don't I will report your womenly car to security and ban it from my company's parking lot. People already complain about your lack of parking skills. Now get to work woman!
Hello bob, how's hitting 50 feel? I heard you got a car that you tried to run along with them younglin's? I guess it helps with the lack of manhand with man-o-pause and ed. Viagra always helps but a secretary's car with boyhood wanabeness doesn't help. See ya around bob |

Overfenders are practical.
I have em on my s13 because I bought it with damage on the rear 1/4s. It was an easy fix, and looks great. My s14 on the other hand, Had nice fitment on stock body, until my buddy backed into my rear 1/4 panel now. Now, Ill probably end up doing overfenders in the back because to me, It makes more sense to buy new rear fenders for $300 than spend $1000 at a body shop to fix the dents. Of course I would need to get new wheels to fit, which is the dilemma. It comes down to look in the end tho. Do you want the look of widebody and widened fenders? Then get over fenders If you like stock look? Keep your stock fenders. I like em both depending on chassis. Overs: Stock Body: not an s-chassis but you get the idea. |

hmm
which is more attractive to you: this clean s14 or this garbage scow anyway, i really don't see why you all think you need 11" tires for 200 horsepower.

ok to be fair though, i can find a bunch of shitty stock bodied 240's and compare them to dope wide body ones and obviously its a no brainer which looks better. but what it comes down to is personal preference...i prefer the wide body look and you might not. but i really see ABSOLUTLEY no down sides to going widebody. all in all it increases the looks of the car and seperates it from the run of the mil stock bodied 240's you see everywhere.

In all honesty I bought the wheels first, went widebody next, then built the motor, but I really enjoyed the car as a whole. Great package, just needed paint.

i would post mine up and then post a clean over'd s14. honestly that was stupid as hell. if that car was painted it would look just as good. even better to me cuz i don't like TE's. even if i could afford them i wouldn't get them. the wheels on the unpainted missmatched flat black s14 looks better to me. |

dude, common... I know u are trying to make a point. It's like saying u want to drive a Ferrari or a Honda??? It's obvious that the 2 cars are for different styles of driving... But I bet if he has his car painted, that thing would look very nice!!!!! And ur comparison will be useless

Dont waste time defending the s14, I have super cock envy over your rx7 sir. If I didn't love my s14 so much I'd honestly consider a trade lol.

My left rear quarter panel is rusted so Ive got 30mm Tatakidashi Origins on the way.
I originally pulled em, one side worked out great and the other side... well thats how I discovered the rust. :'(
