Silvia S13 and S14 titanium key blanks groupbuy
Hello everyone !
My name is Dave and I have been making parts for the 300ZX cars for a long time. And now I've started to make some accessories for the Silvias as well. Most 300ZX owners knows about the 300ZX titanium replica keys that I made. And I've added the S13 and S14 logos to them. The special price for Zilvia is $29.99 shipped for one key or $56 shipped for 2 keys. If you would like to order a keychain it is $8.99 extra per key chain. The key blanks comes in plain, black and red logos. But you can also add your own custom color to the plain ones, any car model paint would do the job. These are made with the same titanium grade that was used for the OEM Nissan 300ZX keys . You can cut the keys at any hardware store or locksmith that has a key copying machine. Just check with them first if they are willing to do it for you since they are titanium so they are a little bit harder then any brass or aluminum key. They need to go a little bit easy when cutting the key since the cutting wheel is made from Carbide. So to get a nice clean cut tell them to do some light passes while cutting the key After cutting the keys you would have to clean up the rough edges by yourself since they wire brushes are not able to do the job at many locksmiths, Shipping time to USA & Canada is 10-14 days .( A tracking number shall be provided) I am located on the Caribbean island of Aruba which is why the shipping take longer than usual. I accept payments with paypal. You can PM me or send me an e-mail at [email protected] Coming soon by the end of April, 180SX, 200SX, 240SX, Sileighty, Onevia and with the S15 Silvia logos. Thanks Dave Last edited by ArubaDave; 04-20-2014 at 08:03 PM.. Reason: Added new versions |

Any way to get them made with the S15 style font (first pic, bottom left key chain)? I am VERY interested in getting a pair.

You have all three styles of keychains, you should offer all 3 key blanks too. |

I'll work on the S15 key blanks next month.
The S15 keys are 10 point these are 8 point keys ( shorter) I need to make the round 180SX keys first and then I'll look into the S15 keys. |

Burnt looks nice

That is correct, I am located on the Caribbean island of Aruba. Shipping to the USA takes between 10-14 days. Nice, how many minutes did it take to get the burnt color? I am going to experiment on some tomorrow. |

The tip is to make sure the key is wiped from all grease and fingerprints with alcohol then heat it up. It depends on flame but less then a minute. Pretty much as soon as it turns red take it off the fire. If u hold it on longer u will get the color to fade to a light blue that means you went too far. You can turn it back to original and retry it by brushing it with steel wool to remove any colors.

so people I got my key this week, and it kicks ass!!!
but beware you need to find a competent person to cut these keys!! I went to a local lock-smith and I thought they were able to do the job. the damn guy was like "I never seen a key like this before, I thought it was a $5.00 ebay key" so he cut it, but it doesn't work so he said if I had the keycode for my car then he could do it that way as he didn't take all the material off (I know confusing). so find someone who knows how to cut tit keys first. I would recommend an idea to dave if he can get them cut for an extra charge and send them to a seller(if seller gave the key code). that way there ready to go.

that is confusing. I know how to cut keys at work (home depot, planing on cuting it myself), and i figured id just have to give it an extra pass or 2 on the machine. from my understanding the key cutter we have at work just follows the profile of old key. so ether it will not cut or itll be a slow cut(extra passes), no clue how it would cut the whole key away. that just sounds like bs.

he says the old key was a shitty coppy. and that if I come back with the key code he could probably save this current key. but we shall see..

Oh what he means is the key is too old or or it a like 7th gen copy. And with aged and coping slowly there is less material on the key. So if he were to cut it there might be just not enough material on the key to open the lock.
