if you use paypal correctly, you won't get screwed. all that little thing called Trader rating / Feedback score.
let's say you send the money, they never send you an item, you dispute the charge. let's say they send you an item, but it's not what you agreed to ( aka junk ).. dispute the charge.. I mean.. have you ever read the paypal seller/buyer protection? just once? |

Look at the post count and trader rating. I wouldn't ever buy something and not add the 3% pay pal fee, it protects you and if you cant spare the change for the extra 3% then you probably shouldn't be modding your car.

In the sense that Paypal will reimburse you for crappy transactions if you file a report and show the seller jipped you.
There is also the sense of investigating the vendor. Going to their profile, read their previous FS threads, etc. But definitely, the best teller is the feedback on them. Obviously, a new member can be legitimate and have a low feedback score due to them not having a lot of time to build it. But this advice is referring to established vendors on here. |

Good info guys .never be too cautious when dealing with a real person. I mean I bought a lot of stuff on eBay before and to me that's just like dealing with a robot but to deal with up another forum member a real person just cant be to cautious cant trust everything out there. |

Checking join Date helps too. I mean it's not guarantee but you know someone has been around for awhile and wouldn't ruin their reputation just to screw somebody.
