Hi, I'm really new to cars and I was just wondering if someone can help me out here! I want to buy this car off craigslist but I'm not sure if its a good idea, can someone help me out?!
Here is the link: 1993 240sx

Question 1: Is that a good price for the car?
Question 2: How much would it cost to repair the problems on there?

offer him $3,000. try to get $2,800.. that should be okay price.

could be any number of things that can range in price by a lot. It also depends on if you are doing the work yourself. High Idle could be something as simple as a badly adjusted throttle cable.

Best thing to do is check it out in person and either bring a mechanic or take it to one your trust while on the test drive.

Yea he high idle could be a real simple fix or it could be a more deep issue. Test drive it and see how it runs also bring a friend or mechanic who knows these cars. I would def offer around 2800-3000 depending on the condition and how it drives. Keep us updated on if you get it!

I bought my car from that guys buddy. He had that one for sale at the time too, so I met both of them. The car is in really nice shape. I probably would've gotten that one if his buddy wasn't selling his. Just not a huge sileighty fan.

^^^^^this guy has the right idea though... remember the lower you pay the more money you got to fix it!
