Does anyone have or know where I can find the OEM twins blowoff valve recirculation tube for a 1j? The little 90 deg rubber elbow that runs from the BOV to the IC piping... Mine split and I cannot find one anywhere.

You couldn't find a barb fitting to replace the whole banjo setup? That will work just keep an eye on it. IMO I wouldn't leave it like that for a long time.

Whats the thread pitch of the bolt that runs through that banjo? 14mm x 1.5? 12mm x 1.25?

0.3125 (5/16) inch = 7.9375 millimeter

I would recommend using copper crush washers though.

Hey 93egallmotor, I have this one that might be better for you. It will probably seal better since it's straight. That is the intake plenum fitting right?

The fitting he is showing is the one that was hooked to the fuel pressure dampener and the fuel rail. he just cut the rest of the crap off so he could use the fitting.

yea it would be temporary. and the thread pitch is 12x1.25. i know i can get a carb fitting to convert to -6, but i dont need all that, the only barb/ banjo fitting is the one we are talking about below here

Driftmotion and CXRacing make kits. I assume you're talking about single turbo.

You should just be able to use your stock stuff that came with the motor unless it was missing or you converted from a rear sump.

Do you know offhand if this 1jz fitting is same size as the two banjo fittings for 2jz GTE fuel connections?

Which of these tranny options is:

1. Inexpensive.

2. A solid upgrade over an r154.

3. Can hold 500whp / 800whp.

The 350z trannys run about $500 and I have forund them for $300
The 2 main problems with this swap is you have to machine 1/2in off the front of the bell housing and even with the linckage cut the shifter still sits about 4in to far back, to some this may not be a big deal but I want everything to look stock, and it would be nice if the trans did brake to be able to swap it and not have to machine the housing, SPs 350z drag car makes over 1100whp and the car is still on the tranny that came in the car from the factory

for the bmw swap I believe it's a m3 tranny not sure which one, they are under $700 American and a bunch of over seas guys use them, I talked to a guy at TX2k from the Netherlands that had one and the car makes over 1000whp and was on the same tranny for the last 3 years, he said it's a very popular conversation over there

ATLspeed posted problems with ebay mounts a lot of pages back, seems like those mounts are problem mounts. Don't buy them!

The black sprayed THIN looking mounts that are common on ebay have bad fitment. Especially the right mount, it sits too far forward(looking from drivers seat) and there is no way to adjust it.

In order to get the trans to sit centered in the shifter hole you have to push the tranny to the right and that makes the R-engine rubber mount contort BADLY! The rubber mount sits at a ridiculous slant and not straight up like it should. So basically it will not work without cutting/welding and moving the bolt holes further back!

If I wanted to do all that I would've made my own mounts already. Don't waste your money like I did

I used what looks to be those exact mounts off ebay and mine worked perfectly. Been running them for about two years now. Not all of them are bad.

They do give you a problem with mounting and the rear of the motor/trans going to the right of the car giving it a nasty angle. I had worn shitty mounts so they just conformed to it. Eventually i will switch to DriftNutz or Ben Freed.

Been Freed mounts may sit too far back for my liking ironically.

Mine sits perfectly all the way back and centered, including the trans mount. saves me a good amount of money from buying the expensive ones, too.
