One problem after another. cigarette lighter wont work
My cigarette lighter on my s13 wont burn or charge anymore. This happen about 1 month ago and before that it was working fine. I switched one of my buddys working cigarette lighter and his wont work on mine neither, so im thinking one of my wires or messed up but then i cant seem to find it. I was looking for the problem early but then cant seem to find any loose wires.
I was wondering if anyone had this problem before and what was the problem? sorry if i give little info or shitty info on my problem let me know and i can explain more if needed. Thanks! |

your car is trying to tell you to quit
have you pulled apart your interior before? i.e. taken out the console? that can definitely mess up things.. check grounds/whatever goodluck

its a blown fuse.
They normally blow when the the cigarette lightergets all rusty inside so it make a bad connection and pops the fuse

I have took out my interior many times and always been careful to pull it out slowly and never rip a wire before. i was doing some research and read something about a fuse going out but then not too sure, gonna do more researching. one more thing is, if my ground wire goes bad for my cigarette lighter than wouldnt my light for my ashtray go out also? just curious because my light for my ash tray is still working fine. |
