s13 fuel leak

Got home work today and noticed that fuel is leaking from the bottom of the vapor canister, is this thing junk? Looks like return line back to the tank runs through the canister? Any answers or ideas

You top off your gas tank when you refill? Thats the only reason I can think of that your charcoal canister would be full and spilling it out.
And it's not a return line, it's basically like a breather for your gas tank, it can be deleted with a plug and a clamp on top of the gas tank.

I pulled the 3 hose coming off of the canister, 1 vacuum, 1 line back to tank, on bigger
Hose there was gas coming out of that line. It had some pressure behind it but not a lot.

Yeah, it was pressure from your tank.
Oh and if you're going to delete it plug up your vacuums.

Removed gas cap and sure enough the tank was under pressure, think I need a new fuel cap?

Never had a problem before when filling my gas tank, until now. I placed a bottle to collect the fuel come from the line off of canister and as soon as I pulled fuel cap off and relieved pressure the fuel from line stopped. Where is the tank vented, maybe the vent is stuck closed

It vents fumes through canister.
Personally I think your tank is just overfilled. Don't top off when you fill up, just until the pump clicks off. Topping off causes the charcoal canister to saturate and leak out.

CA

Update:
Still haveing the same problem, haven't topped off tank since. Even at 3/4 of tank and its above 80 degrees I get raw fuel pushed through vent line and out of charcoal canister.

Is there some sort of check valve or something to stop fuel from being pushed that far into the system?

What about the possibility of your fuel gauge or sending unit not sending a correct signal causing you to fill too much?

No I haven't figured it out yet. I just don't fill my tank over 3/4 of a tank.

That sucks. I think its something to do with the vac system and blowby. Mine started doing it the day I put my new pcv valve in.

Fuel right?
It's going to be most likely the fuel pressure regulator seal, or return line. Maybe even your fuel hard lines.

An easy way to create fuel pressure is to put your key in the on position by cycling the key on and off. That way you don't have to turn on your engine.
