**CLOSED!!** Group Buy: True HID kits! **IN STOCK AND ACCEPTING PAYMENTS!!**
Hey guys. I've seen alot more interest in HID kits recently, and found a supplier that is willing to do a group buy. So, if there is enough interest, I will go through and host the buy.
Who: You will deal directly with me. I've been asked about my credentials. So here these are: I'm a moderator here. I'm on every other board possible. I've been an active member for 3 years. Here is my ebay feedback: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...erid=jeff240sx That is 377 positive feedbacks from 345 unique users. 0 negatives. And I don't just buy stuff, I actually sell "ricer lights (hahaha!)" every day. I'm really not out to screw people, which is why I'm willing to put up the other 50% for the bulbs. What: XD7 HID kits. These are on Ebay at $289 + $20 shipping. I can get down to $270 shipped for 10 sets. $260 for 15 sets. $255 for 20 sets, and $250 for 25+ sets. This is a full kit, ready to install. I've installed one on a friend's Tahoe and it required no cutting, and was done in an hour. "They're crazy bright," according to him. Included with the kit: -HID 35W Lamp 2pcs -Ballast 2pcs -Starter 2pcs -Cable Tie 12pcs -Cable Set 2pcs -Bracket for Ballast 2pcs -Bracket for Starter 2pcs -Bolt, Nut, Washer 14set -1 Spare Fuse (15A) -1 Installation Instructions (English) Type | ARCVoltage | TestVoltage | Wattage | Life H1 | 85±17 | 13.5 | 35±3 | min2000Hr H4 | 85±17 | 13.5 | 35±3 | min2000Hr Available in: 4100K - "Standard HID". +$10 over groupbuy price *Not exact pic. That's of 5000K, but you can see it's much more white than the others* 6500K - Blueish white. 7500K - White white. 8500K - Blue/violet. These kits come with a 1 year warranty, available to the purchaser (Me). I've been around for 3 years. I'll be here for another year. When: I am starting this now. I think that Dec 5th is a good stop date. How: Once I get 10 confirmed buyers, I'll take a nonrefundable 50% deposit, and foot the other 50% (we're talking over $1000) myself, so that nobody feels uncomforable in this transaction. The shipment will take 30 days from the moment I place the order, plus or minus a few due to customs. If a buyer backs out, I am keeping the deposit, because I'm not losing $150 because someone would rather have a new steering wheel. If you can find another buyer for your set, have them give you the 50% deposit, and the other 50% to me and I'll release the bulbs. If anyone is interested, let me know. I know that christmas is comming up, which is usually a good time for group buys. It's only 50% now, and 50% after the holidays (like I said, 30 days shipping). -Jeff List of people who have paid: 1.) Nokuntrol for H1 4200K 2.) pgt892 for H1 4200K 3.) kidynomite for h4 7500K 4.) co_s13 for H1 8500K 5.) DCT 223 for H4 4200K 6.) Tenchuu for H1 7500K 7.) 204_240SX for H4 6500K 8.) The headlights are for H1 and H4, which are s14a and s14 bulbs, and the most popular sealed beam conversion for s13s. -Jeff

C) HID kits use less wattage to make brighter light. I believe these are 35 or 37 watt bulbs. With half the current draw, wiring and housing heat issues are nonexistant. -Jeff

I recommend whatever lights you think look good. I plan on getting 6500K myself. Lights are only illegal if they're obnoxious colors, like 12000K, or if the cop is having a bad day. -Jeff

you know how the back of the headlight housing u have to unscrew that cap to get to the bulbs, you just drill a large hole in that to put the hid bulb through right? what keeps moisture out of the headlight then?
