im currently in the middle of swapping an S13 blacktop into a 98 S14. my question is, what DS do i need? the KA was auto, btw. any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have ABS?

S14, Manual, With or Without ABS.

Re-use your driveshaft...just knock off the dust boot if you have to.

idk if you can use the auto driveshaft i herd that the yok is smaller its just better just to use the 5spd driveshaft

You need a 5 spd manual drive shaft from an S14. As mentioned if you have ABS get an ABS one. No ABS then get one that's Non-ABS. Easy as pie.

abs doesnt matter 2 shits, you only have to swap the front part.

its a 2 piece driveshaft.

the diameter of the auto DS is smaller than that of the manual DS, that much i do know. i figured i needed an S14 DS thinking that the pumpkin on the S14 is a further distance from the trans (?), but i just wanted to make sure before i dropped the money. thanks for the help guys.

btw, im lookin at going to a 1pc anyway, so the front piece swap is irrelevant
