Can anyone even prove CST's are not made in China? Believe it or not, most things are made there... From their website. (Note nothing about being made in Japan).
http://www.doall.jp/wheels/cst_wheel...1/product.html CST their meanings "Circuit Spec Tune" We think of creative philosophy, it is to feed back the goods-class in circuit to the street. Wasteful meat to obtain a lightweight is scraped off, but the strength of the product that becomes the bone is not to drop to the absolute. The relative things based on past experience and proven track record, to be extracted with the best balance is also our mission. The idea is also sometimes "was pointy" usually a different thing to be in spec (thinking). This is "rather than choosing a car goods, products choose the car" also becomes specs that. Also to pursue the only committed to stoic it is of such identity named this CST. Also, always consider the market in terms of price, we have achieved a realistic price. In the price range that does not meet even make much better products to the market, it becomes the tail wagging the dog is not distributed to the market. Brand CST customers are asked to sympathize with our ideas, it is also a brand that is going to grow together. About Zero1 Hyper - Zero One hyper The Is a Zero-1 Hyper that embodies the up circuit from the street. In that process was employed the low-pressure casting to pursue a balance of light weight and strength. Also by making up the strength of the material, to achieve a 18 percent lighter than comparable products in product weight dropped stripped useless flab. It spoke shape to adopt the design of strong shape to reduce the lateral stiffness of the power loss (cornering). And the inner rim was a strong rim designed to control the stress of the wall thickness distribution. In addition plus (VIA + 90 ° impact) 90 degrees impact test on VIA strength test (h = 140mm weight 1010Kgf) implementation and drum test 600 000 rotation It was stuck to durability, such as adding clear the strength criteria to finish the. It is of a zero one hyper that poured all of the data and the ideal as we have. New Color Line Up - new color appearance of Online Shop Limited color has been added as a normal line-up products in addition fluorescent pink, fluorescent green. There's the VIA stamping. And I do believe that actually is a JWL stamp on the other side of these CST's. Sweet. Confirmation of the high quality. Hopefully MB's have it too.

Sure, man. I just wanted to understand the hype you guys have for these wheels, because they're on my short list as well. I just didn't get why you guys overwhelmingly LOOOOOOVE these wheels in comparison to other cheapass competitors. Now I know. The VIA & JWL certs say it all. Didn't even realize a china wheel could get a JWL cert.
I never hated these wheels, guys. Who could? They're so fucking cheap! But I might respect them more now.

The JWL standard (Japan Light Alloy Wheel standard) is a set of requirements for alloy wheels set by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Japan) that must be met for all passenger cars in Japan. The JWL mark, cast or forged into the wheel, indicates that the wheel has been self-certified by its manufacturer to meet the standard. There is a related standard, JWL-T, for truck and bus wheels.
The Vehicle Inspection Association of Japan (VIA) independently tests wheels for JWL or JWL-T compliance. Wheels that have been tested will bear the VIA mark in addition to the JWL mark.[1] |
