Is it toe in or out, and is it on one or both tires?
My experience with most alignment shops is they have no idea how to use and work with adjustable components. If it's toe in you could have your lower control arms too short. Hope this helps a little. |

I would trim the tie rod if i was at home and not on stupid deployment with the navy dummy. I sure do hope the rack is still centered because that would suck if it wasnt. I cant post any pix right now but from looking at it the toe is in and its in more on the passenger side than the driver side. Yeah i figured out they dont know how to work on the LCA's when i wasted my money tryna get a alignment haha. I rather have the stock arms too but i just bought these because i couldnt find the stock ones anywhere which sucks..

Your posts give me headaches...biggest mistake deployed soldiers make...sending your car to a shop while you're gone = dumb.
Though aren't you guys only gone for like a few months at a time ;p. |

Damn i've been in your position bout bending ur arms lol. Well for me i decided to put J30 arms since they looked the same so i thought but the arms are shorter. After looking at a few aftermarket arm specs it seems that they're not exactly around where the stock ones are, so my suggestion is, stock arms dude. Good luck man i know how it feels, stupid curbs y they gotta jump infront of us!!! lol

Ah, deployment my last one was to Afghanistan a little over a year ago now. I would just have the car parked (if you can) and take it to the hobby shop on post when you get back. I'm not sure if the Navy has them or how they are equiped, but I know when I was at Polk the had a Hunter laser alignment machine in the shop. Cost 40$ and you could help the guy do it, plus then you knew it was done right.

Post Whore!

I had a simililar problem where the tie rod became too short instead of too long, after replacing almost everything, in the end it was the rack and pinion, not sure how but it was all messed up causing one side to be longer than the other somehow.
Read it here. http://zilvia.net/f/tech-talk/269801...one-wrong.html
