Can I get some feedback on my latest project? A wheel fitment calculator
Hey guys!
I just got done launching my new website FitMyWheels - Wheel fitment, offset, and tire stretch calculator. Can you guys play around with it a bit and see if everything is working okay and if you see any errors in the calculations it is providing? Also, any suggestions or feature requests? I got sick of people trying to discuss tire size, stretch, and fitment without being able to visualize it. So, the site generates an image which can be shared on forums to aid in discussion or bragging I guess. I know there are a few other fit calculators out there, but my goal is to provide the easiest one to use and provide features people want as a community. If you would like to help get the word out about it, please like the facebook page too: https://www.facebook.com/FitMyWheels Here's an example image it makes:

the idea is cool but I guess there are some factors that are an issue, no camber, caster, toe (dunno if that stuff affects shock clearance) and what car front or rear is it calculating for, etc, etc,etc

What I've been toying with doing, is allowing you to select the type of suspension and provide a drop down of car types. The car type would allow me to let everyone do accurate fender clearance calculations. I would just have to build the list of measurements up over time or have people submit them.

Sort of.
Rim tuck provides a database of a fitment installed on a car type and pics. I just provide calculations. I've thought of adding the database of fitment x on car y like rimtuck does, but rimtuck is an awesome resource so not sure if I will just yet.

Updated the site! It now supports camber on each tire. This will allow you guys to get a finer tune on the potential setup you're looking at doing. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
