So.. ive been having this problem for a while when i am driving my car, say in 2nd or 3rd gear.. and as i am decreasing in speed to come to a stop.. it dies WHILE it is still in gear. STILL IN MOTION.. But all of the dash lights come on like i am about to start the car.. This problem is a very random non frequent problem.. but wat worries me is if it happenes on a off ramp turn. or even on a busy freeway. Luckily, it only happened late night cruising on local streets.

Well, so far i have come to the conclusion it might be a Fuel problem, distributor, o2 sensor needs to be plugged in, MAFS, or maybe a leak of some sort some where... But at this moment.. i am so fkn clueless

Any input would be appreciated and also for the ppl that had similar problems.. it would be helpful for u to compare our problems also.. thanks

i had a similar problem, mine was my maf, but i would suggest to clean your maf, and check to make sure all your intercooler piping is connected securely. also check your fuel filter, although i doubt it.

sr20's dont have a distributer. Some people have this problem with atmos. bov's but yours sounds like its something else since you probably still have the recirc valve. I would check the tps voltage and adjust the idle screw. When mine was stalling the tps voltage was around .35v and it should be more like .50V with the throttle closed.

check the 12V supply to the ECU and especially the wiring under the dash/passenger side ECU location.

Make sure your motor is properly grounded to the firewall. Sometimes teh connection becomes corroded or even loose, and then the car will stutter and shut off.

sounds alot like an atmos. bov problem...even when i had my swap done, the stock bov was left open atmos. and the car ran very very rich and wanted to stall frequently especially when decelerating......what kind of bov setup do you have??
