domo-kun was the mascot for NHK. hes a space alien that hatched from an egg. despite looking mean (and being in that kitten killing picture), hes actually very nice.

I used to get NHK on my old cable system. I used to turn it on from time to time hoping they'd run SOMETHING, SOMETIME about cars. Never did. But sumo tournaments are awesome to watch!
