so i have a 1995 240sx its all stock, it runs really good and idles great, it has a smooth steady idle, now heres the problem, say your sitting in traffic, after you drive the car then stop it if it sits for a couple min just idling when you go to give it gas it will smoke for a min then go away, it will only smoke if the car sits and idles for a min, and now its going through some oil, anyone have any ideas

valve seals maybe? how many miles are on it?

137000, i was kind of thinking the valve seals to, i mean i am going to compression check it this weekend, but i was think since it idles fine and really smooth the compression had to be good on it

You thought wrong. Just because you have a solid idle doesn't mean you're not losing compression.
