Cutting Out Helppppp!
Soo, I have searched this over and over. Read a few things but it seems like people just ditch the thread and no solution was ever posted. My 1990 240sx hatch with a ka24e is acting up and pissing me off in the process! The speedometer works sometimes, and when it does everything is just dandy besides the fact that its reading like 15km/h faster then the car is actually going. When it doesnt work the needle just sits at 0 my odometer isnt doing any reading, the cruise control does not work, and when I rev past 4000(roughly) in 3rd-5th gear the car cuts out like the same sensation as hitting speed limiter, after a few seconds when the RPM drops or i push the clutch in and out I once again have acceleration. This is annoying for a few reasons
-No cruise control
-No idea how fast I am going
-On the highway I can barely pass people because it cuts out in high RPM
If someone could help it would be greatly appreciate it. I assume its either the cluster or the Speed Sensor, just hope my symptons can trigger a hint for you guys. Thanks in advance
