Im sure you guys do this often. Im constantly putting my car up to swap wheel or putting in new parts... I have not yet installed my side skirts becuase theres a lot more work left to do.

The car is low as it is, takes two jacks...scissor to get it on the hyrdolic.

When i get my sides skirts mounted, they will be kinda permanent.
I tried getting a scissor j. under the car to the frame rail and lifting it a little to get the hydrolic jack in there with the sideskirts mocked up on the car.

I can figure out how im gonna get this thing up. I dont want to remove my aero side skirts and fb, its way to much work. And you always dont have blocks to drive on when your on the road.

Oh and to top it off, these side skirts cover or are way to close to the factory front fender jacking points...

Go to Home Depot.
Buy some 2x6 planks of wood.
Drive onto the planks.
Keep adding planks until car is high enough to get hydraulic jack under.

This should solve your problem, by only incresing the height of the car by 2 inches each time, you can gradually lift it to the level you need. Unlike store bought ramps, which are usually too steep for lowered cars.

As for when you are own the road...

You're screwed.

stack up small peices of wood like ramps for all four tires then drive up on the wood if u can get it high enough u should be able to use the jack with no problems.

Drive up on a wood block or two, and use the front tow hooks to jack the car up.

Bring a couple 2x4 blocks around with you.

Yeah, the wood was also what I was thinking.

Also, someone, one of the big JDM parts compaines, maybe cusco, makes a specially designed set of ramps for this. They're only like 2 inches up, and have a very gradual incline.

ziptie the skirts on and bring extra zipties with you in your car. bring a cutter or something too.
everytime you need to jack up the car, cut the zipties and bam. jack it up. then ziptie it back on. waaa laaa

You can always jack up the car from the diff or tow hooks too.

^Yep, you can get them at Rare-Trick in the "Rare Items" section. I thought about getting some because those look much easier to store in a trunk than a splintering piece of wood but then again...$70? I'll just cover the wood with stainless or diamond plate or something.

EDIT: Oh, just remember, those of you using wood planks, if the tread on your tire hits a 2x4 (or some other measurement of wood) just right it will flip the plank up and possibly ruin your aero.

But like everyone has been saying either construct a little ramp out of wood and toss it in your back seat. Then drive on those and use your tow hooks. You should at least be able to get one side of the car up using one of the tow hooks.

ive got those Takata ramps and i still cant fit my car over that...

i have to take my bumper off, then use one of those low profile aluminum "race" jacks just to lift under the tow hook so i can fit my OTHER jack on the other tow hook. Then jack with the OTHER jack, take the aluminum race jack out, put under front crossmember and jack it there.....

it's alot of work for being low and with aero kit, but is the only way for me....
if i were to stack up wood, i would not have enough room to drive straight onto it since i would literally have to stack it to about 15-20 feet

just ziptie your bumpers on when you know you're going to have to change wheels often....or just leav it on for easier access when doing oil change/radiator flush, change suspension settings, etc..

i stick the factory jack under the specified location to lift the front up a lil, then remove my bumper (via screws and zipties) and then stick a floor jack under the front cross member...

my front bumper and side skirts sit 3inches from the ground so trying to fit a jack under there is almost impossible. what i do is drive each tire up on 2x4's then use the diff to jack up the car! and if i need the front up, i use the rad support!

Now that we've got that out of the way...

4x4's and raise it from the tow hooks; works for me.

Or just 4x4's and with a low-profile jack I can actually squeeze under the cross member.

haha. i have 4 slabs of brick. i jsut drive ontop of them. use scissor jack on one side. gets the car high enough to get the low race jack under the diff and voila. it is risen

damn, all u guys are lucky.....
my jack handle wont have enough angle (hits front bumper) to pump if i dont jack it from the TWO tow hooks beforehand

And because they are made out of plastic, they weigh about 2-3 pounds each, (maybe less..I haven't weighed them cuz they are that light), easily fit in the trunk of your car, and will last a lifetime.

These things were worth every penny I spent on them.

HELP! I lowered my daily driver too much to do anything to it at all.
No pity. Raise up your car if it's that bad. And if you need to consult 25 other people on Zilvia, it is that bad.
Other people - John - with the showcar hotness.. who needs 2x4s to leave his driveway is acceptable. It's a showcar.
People with ultralow 240s need to buy trucks and an issue of lowrider.

if you're carrying scissor jacks and a hydraulic jack around with you i don't see why you would find lugging wood planks around a problem! either raise your car or get a low pro jack as stated. btw snap a pic for us too see exactly how low you are

its not touching the ground its just problems getting a jack under coz the sideskirts cover the OE jacking points

I guess Ill have to bring along some planks to drive on.

just cut some of the back side of the skirts off...it's not gonna affect the appearance at all
