Tweeters and some Alpine replacement speakers with a crappy headunit...
You can see a speaker if you look through the window screen.... My friend said he put some 6x9's or something in it but the guy driving the car right now hasn't said anything about new speakers in it. I was wanting to get some subs in the car but it'd sound horrible with the cage and the bare metal... |

Stock factory A-Pillar tweeters (gonna change after christmas)
Blaupunkt door speakers (they gotta go!) Pioneer 6.5" Rev series Coaxials in the rear (very nice speakers, try em) Alpine MRV-1507 amp powering a 10" Kicker CVX in a 2 cube box tuned to 34Hz. Pioneer Pemier DEH-680MP. Best headunit I've owned. I would recommend a CVX to ANYONE. Clean, loud, sane.

I have thought about getting better speakers for the front, but to be honest I’m done with audio crap, just want to finish what I have started at this point. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I have a JVC HDR1 head unit- (built in HD radio, I love it because there are like two dozen HD stations in Chicago.)
JVC iPod interface Infinity Reference 4.5" front and 6" back JVC 200 watt amplifier powering a JVC 12" sub, sealed box. Crutchfied Bass Blockers on the front speakers. By the way, the 4.5 inch speakers are much more impressive than I would have imagined. |

3" JDM exhaust. Soon to be 3" straight pipe to A Spec Blastpipes (with resonator, probably a muffler).
I really want a nice set of components and an amp to push them, but I just have better things to spend money on. Maybe the daily will have a nice system. Someday...

What speakers? My car was broken into and the bastard cut my radio hardness to get it out, what a tool. I didnt really feel like dealing with all the wires so I took all my audio shit out of my car. Gets boring sometimes lol....

Thanks, i've had lots of very high end equipment but i'm very proud of the actual install portion this time. the fiberglass box saves some weight over mdf as well. for guys worried about weight you can use 1/2" baltic birch which is lighter and stronger than 3/4" mdf.

just connect everything straight to the battery and use a breaker, in that way u won't burn anything, like your stereo or your amp.and besides that, you won't need your key to turn on the radio...sorry to hear that, in Mexico my stereo was stolen twice, one by an ex-friend, but the police stole(the local) all my cd collection.....and is easier connect everything didirect to the batttt, cause u can forget all those wires colors and combinatio(depend, no really hard but, they must match |

I used to have two JL Audio 12W3v1's powered by a Hifonics Brutus 1605D. Decided to upgrade. Bought a 500/1 with plans of buying one 13W6, but came across a 12W7 that I couldn't pass up. So, traded my 500/1 and $100 for a 1000/1. Too bad I never received my end of the trade...Yuba City mother fucker. Now I want some nice components. My current Pioneer's have ABSOLUTELY NO midbass and below and I listen to mostly hip-hop and R&B.

Haven't installed them yet, but here's mine:
- Pioneer Headunit DEH-690UB - Infinity 6.5" Speakers REF6022SI (Front) - Infinity 6"x9" Speakers REF9622I (Rear) Might switch the 6"x9" Speakers for another set of 6.5," but not until I actually hear what the system sounds like. No subwoofer or amp. Just keeping it simple and clean

Alpine 9855 headunit
Infinity Kappa 6.5" component set (custom mounted the tweeters) Rockford Fosgate 6.5"s (dunno model) in rear (one might be blown) DHD 200x4 amp for speakers 2 12" Pioneer subs in a sealed box Kicker kx800.2 for subs I want to upgrade the component set up front to the CDT set and swap out my subs for a single 10 or 12".. I have no trunk space. and I have my subs pointed up because with the little space I have, it was the only way to fit it all... I regret going with 2 12"s... Any recommedation for a single 10 or 12" in a sealed box and a 4 channel amp that can run a component set and the sub?
