Need help sourcing a vacuum hose
Hi guys,
I would like some assistance with sourcing a vacuum hose that Nissan no longer sells, part number for the vacuum hose 16521-65Y10 anything that has a reducing rubber piece rather than jamming in a smaller hose into a larger hose. TIA Ken |

Go to local auto parts store and ask to browse the hose in back, find something your size. or get a reducing plastic coupler

Thanks but I've done that a hand full of times and came up with nothing other than sticking a small rubber hose into a bigger one. So no dice. There's gotta be something out that is used on another car thar someone knows about

Are you sure that it is discontinued? I "clicked, copied and pasted" the provided part # and I was able to purchase it from 4 different Nissan vendors. (I didn't fully purchase it, just went through the majority of the "purchase" process).

I broke that part, went down to Autozone, went in the back, got a hose that fit the small side under the intake but expand big enough to go on the big side. I put a little lube in the side to go on the intake and shoved it on the big side then put a pipe clamp on to make it nice and neat. I have had no issues for the last 3 years and you would never know its not supposed to be there.
Or just do what a friend did, get a hose to fit the large side and a reduction from the large to small hose (they exist in the packs of assorted sizes) and hide the reduction under your intake for a cleaner look.
