hate it,love it whatever build
A little background. i got the car back in 2001ish, from the shop i use to work at. condition was decent, just a shell, no main harness, front end, engine or trans. sorry no pics digi cameras were too expensive n shitty at the time.
i had some shitty taste at the time lol. and i have some beat up ass fenders lol then i got a decent front end. but still had a shitty bumper then i finally got a stock silvia bumper on for a while then the 5-lug and stock s-14 wheels and some coil-overs Tein Flex motor was a stock red top with usual bolt ons drove it around for a while, and the gas tank developed a leak, so as a temporary fix i used some jbweld. It worked for a while until i started to get more leaks, so i decided to bite the bullett and buy a new tank. while the car was out of commission i bought some rims. Stern Beastface 17x8 +32 from and 17x9 +38. but i didnt end up using them and got a good deal on some Motegi Touge's 18x9 +12 and 18 x 10 +30 so then i was like eh screw it and bought a kit n threw on some fender flares i was also wanted to clean up the engine bay and add some shit then more changes bc i was bored. lol decided to spend more money and build a lot of SS lines little bit of wire tuck figured i would paint the stock IM before after then i hated the routing of the heater hoses so i did this

then it was time to get the oil cooler set up. got a Greddy Oil filter base with Thermostat, and an oil cooler from a Volvo picked up and S-15 turbo to replace the worn out t25 added a -10 drain fitting and to fix the fact that i cut the heater hose routing i needed to make a water return for the Fuel system i did AN lines bc i hate rubber fuel hose. and non of that clamp a SS line to stock hard line. lol now for whatever reason i decided that i would take the motor out and prep the car for paint and shit door jams primered also since im usually bored and my social life kinda sucks at the moment i cleaned up the sub frame and added some spacers and cleaned and painted the underside of the rear

Motor is out so im like fuck it. might as well re-fresh it a bit and add some more parts
took the motor apart and found this shit this is the #3 cam cap and mating surface here is the cam instead of trying to repair this i decided to get another head got it like this sent it to a machine shop and had it surfaced and hot tanked, and it came out like this the block wasnt in bad condition eithor mostly a lot of build up on the pistons so i sent it to a buddy of mine and he checked it out, and re-ringed it, and did all new bearings, thrust washers, and honed the bores got it back like this bought a new tool so i could put on these bc springs, retainers, and cams. then i got all new rockers b/c the stock ones were pretty scored up

so im supper inspired about some of the wiring job that are here on Zilvia,
so i cleaned up my engine harness added that braided sleeving...looks all purdy lol for the oiling system i used the Tomei block adapter now it mates up nicely with the greddy filter adapter. i also didnt like the banjo bolt for the turbo oil feed line so i got this from Pegasus now that every thing was apart i wanted to check the tranny to make sure it was in good condition, it was dirty as shit took the casing apart to inspect all the gears n synchros everything lookd pretty good and i never had a problem with it. since it was all apart i decided to paint the housing, but i had to clean it up dont ask y b/c i dont know but i went with john deere green now it was time to start cleaning up and get my motor back togather got an Apexi 1.1 HG and ARP studs figured i would color coordinate some shit then for whatever reason again, i got a differnt turbo, Gt2871 with .82 AR T3 flange and a top mount manifold from JGS tools
