Energy Suspension bushings in s13 subframe???
Hi, yes Ive tried searching but cant find a definitive answer. I have an s13 rear subframe in which I ordered s14 energy suspension bushings for. I still have the metal sleeves in my subframe but it appears as though the bushing is too tall. It sticks up above the top of the subframe. Has anyone ran s14 es bushings in their s13?

They dont sell es subframe bushings for s13 and the solid bushings are s13/14 so i figured the es ones would be also. The solids are sold out everywhere. Thanks for your input tho

Did you grease the bushing and tap it in with a mallet?

the ES S14 bushings work for S13. I did mine about 2 months ago. If you want to you can always shave off some of the material that "sticks out" so you can raise your subframe. Otherwise just stick it in and have fun with it

I dont think it would be ok to run it the way it is becausr of the amount sticking up. The subframe would be much lower than before

Wait I put solid es bushings in my s13 and had no problems with fitment. They are two pieces right? Put the top in first then the bottom from the bottom. You should end.up with two flanges sticking above/below the subframe top and bottom. Been a few years since I had all that apart but I believe you have to leave the metal sleeve in on the s13. At most I cut the bottom flange of the inner sleeves out. I do remember having no problems whatsoever with the install.

I'll see.if I can scrounge up a pic of the underside or and.take one tonight. Don't cut anything!

Oh wow i hammered both pieces in from the bottom and had a half inch sticking out. I ended up cutting them to fit that way?

yeah i put mine in my subframe a few weeks ago. its a pain in the ass to get the old bushings out but the new bushings are nice
