Hey everbody. Since this is my first post, i'll introduce myself: i'm Jason.
Anyway, i'm looking for a new car and i'm really liking the late model 240sx's. I love the styling, and i've heard alot of good things. But, i have yet to test drive one for myself (they're hard to find in the Cincinnati area). I'm just a little hesitant to go down to a smaller engine (my current car is a v6), but my main concern is the rwd. I know it has its advantages, but i've heard they can be #### in the rain and snow. So now i leave it up to all of you to convince me that this is the car for me. |

ArchyBaby,
Take a look at the S14 section on my site. Let the movie load up. It contains 61 images of them to music. They are one of the best looking cars on the road and i love mine because it just gets noticed wherever it goes. It`s so exclusive, there`s so few about. That front on the newer face lift model your looking at has got to be one of the most aggressive on the road. I can`t stop looking at mine (my car that is). They are gorgeous to drive and modify. The rear IS a problem in the wet but thats only if you hit the loud pedal too hard. It`s commonsense really. Accelerate gradually if road is wet. If dry floor it and it just accelerates forever. But don`t i repeat DON`T lay your b0ll0cks in the engine compartment and drop the bonnet because it bl00dy hurts :o (Edited by dave2u at 1:32 pm on Sep. 16, 2001) |

Hey Archangel, have you tried www.autotrader.com you can usually find the car your looking for on there. Don't worry about going from a V6 to a 4 cyl, the powerband will be allittle different but the 240sx has comparable torque and HP numbers to older V6's so thats no big deal. As for it being RWD just becareful in rain like dave said and be VERY careful when there is chances for ice, I have pirelli tires on the rear wheels and have had no problems in the rain. besides that there is nothing you can do when it gets bad outside.
And dave2nu, your so British it's funny <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> have you been to the 200sx forum it's a good forum on 200sx's. |

first of all, i'd like to tell dave2u your page rocks... its the best nissan related site i've ever seen, i'll send you some of my pics, once i receive them. but back on the 240SX in the snow, if the s14s are like my s13, snow is very bad... i've put 2 center blocks on each side in my hatchback and even put kitty liter on my 1/4 mile hill to my house, still didn't work. too much torque. but the s14s probsbly will do better since the s13 was a building block to the s14.

Dave, your site is cool, but I gotta say that THIS is the best Nissan (240) site I've ever been to. Sorry, dude (or mate, whatever <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> )
