I don't think the scene is dead, but most of the people who care about their cars for themselves and just like having fun, stay away from car meets and Facebook pages most of the time, unless they need to buy something or have a quick question. So, it's like there's a large group of people, who are into the same thing, but don't ever come across each others path unless you occasionally see them on the highway or something. At least, this is my perspective of it.

I do agree though, prices on these cars are obnoxious. I remember in when I was a young teen, being able to buy 240's for like $100-$300 all day. Same thing is starting to happen in the S12 community. Prices are steadily going up.

Anyone have any issues with there steering wheel violently shaking at idol, I just put a new power steering pump in and check for backwards line but nothing so far. I have a 95 s14 with a ka, any help would be great!

Ages ago there used to be meets at the sonic on beach Blvd.

I was just visiting jax two weeks ago and there just happened to be a event going on there, it was very packed and lots of cars

Finally got my 98 a14: painted and alarm done

Now gotta do interior

Need
non sunroof headliner
Missing some trunk carpet and trim
Someone to recover my dash the usual cracks
(After that I will get a radio system)
And rear brake upgrade have Evo viii rears
Bought the fronts as a set their already on the car
But the rears I need everything but the calipers

Any help would be greatly appreciated
I need help pm friendly
