s13 sr20det into s14 using s14 sr20det engine harness?

Ok I am helping a buddy of mine out do his sr swap. he purchased an s13 sr20det that came with two s13 ecu's he then purchased an s14 sr engine harness. my question is what needs to be done to make his harness work with the engine? also what harness does he need for his lower harness? can the s14 ka trans harness be used?

ya pretty sure a s14 harness will not work. the s14 harness has a f4 plug then connects the dash and engine harnesses together. the s13 does not, it uses different connectors. good luck, id just go wiring specialists.

Only thing you can use is the S14 Trans harness and the ECU.

You need a S13 SR engine harness and a S14 KA engine harness to hack it together. You can get a S13SR engine harness and hack up the S14SR you have now but, you only need the dash plugs from the S14 harness. You could sell the SR harness for more then you could get the plug for.

You best bet is to sell the S14SR harness and buy a premade S13 into S14.
