Seda
http://southeastdrift.com/forum/index.php
SEDA or Southeast Drift Association is a new group/forum that some guys and I are trying to get started. It was established about a month or two ago and right now we're trying to find members. Basically anyone can be a member, Charter members (the first 100) only pay $35 for this year, and after that the dues are $50. This includes a t-shirt and possibly a membership card, stickers, etc. Don't think it's just a forum though... why would you pay for that? We plan on having 6 actual drift events a year, one every other month. On the off months, when there isn't a drift day, we will have a group wide meet. This month, the first meet is the trip to the Tail of the Dragon in Deals Gap. Right now we have about 35 members and are growing... but we really need to get more to get some track days going... because I'm sure you know that it's expensive. The main benifit of being a paid member is a huge discount at the track days, plus other perks. For more info on becoming a member go here: http://southeastdrift.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6 . For more information on our first meet go here: http://southeastdrift.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4 . This isn't for everyone, but if you're the type of person that would like to be involved then please consider it. $35 is nothing, and to actually get track time for drifting in the southeast will be kick ass. We're just trying to get legal drifting going. The club is also HEAVILY affiliated with driftMechaniks, the dominate ATL area drift club, and also Drift411, which is another huge forum. This isn't just a few random guys like me trying to get something going, these are established members of the drift community, not only in the southeast but across the nation. Thanks! |

Sup guys, I got a couple of my shop guys joining, and a few of my customers, so we should have more people soon. After the first event that's hosted, it will probably blow up, and everyone will want to join since they know its serious, it's just right now, SEDA is still new, and alot of people are still skeptical and think someone just might be funding a motor swap. But I have quite a bit of guys wanting to join, and actually a couple of Mustang guys who want to give it a shot.
