I would just like to give a big thank you to all our NEW staff. Coming out supporting our event and staffing for us with NO complains!
If it wasn't for those guys and gals, this event wouldn't be a success (IMO). Also a big thank you to all the drivers for coming out and spectators supporting our event. No crashes! Which was great! For the last 3 days Jay Pizo's and I only got about 1-3 hour of sleep. Goodnight and I will not be waking up for another 3 days. -Al |

then it was time for the staff to get their laps in
jay understeered over the ridge and lost his bumper then george clippled the apex too narrow and lost his bumper too. wizard drifted the gto. it drifts like shit. fun to watch since it's so sloppy marc got his car out for a few laps. i think i saw al driving it at least one time though. few more gto laps before the clutch and diff gave up then we went home. the end. |

Honestly, from all of the participants, how were the lines to get a run in? From a couple of those shots the line looks really long and the track configuration seemed to allow only one at a time.
Just wondering how many runs you all got in throughout the day. If you could count them on both hands or if you lost count.

To everyone that help us out.
Can you please send me an email at [email protected] I got some goodies for you guys. Let me know your name and who you were... I know there was tons of you but it was very hard to remember all of you guys name. Also thanks to our tech staff in the morning that move it quickly ASAP. Luke Lonberger, Roy Autofix and Jonathan Black Bomber. I know there were a few of you guys that had a windshield crack, not current helmet and other small things. Please fix all that issue for our next event if you are planning to attend. Thanks Al |

hahaha... You call me Jonathan Black Bomber?? That's funny Al. I'll just call you PhuckT3 Al! hahaha
Luke was going easy on you guys in Tech... next event won't be as easy to slide through. To make it easier on us for next time everyone should have their own torque wrench and tools ready to tighten lugnuts for us to see. Hoods should stay popped in the tech line and everything should already be cleaned out of the cars ie: floor mats and loose articles should already be out of the cars. Black Bomber out. |

I was taking it easy on the non safety items, such as dirty brake fluid, zip tied body panels, etc. I was suprised some of the cars passed, but in all it worked out great. To all the people I told to fix their cars. You wont be allowed to run at the next event if those items are not fixed.
From my point of view from being an instructor. I must say that everyone adapted very well throughout the day. I watched quiet a few people that started off kind of rusty, but ended up laying down runs that would have qualified top 16 at pro am. Great job guys. Keep in mind for the next event we can not pass any cars that have tech issues. So dont think we are being mean if you dont pass, because you have been warned. If you guys have any constructive input from the event let us know. Personally I thought it went great. I even had a chance to slide around my completely stock GTO with a blown clutch and worn out diff. lol
