Is your family a Ford family, Chevy, Mistu or what? (with the exception of your Nissan, of course). Or, is your family a Nissan-only family, how cool would that be.
My parents really haven't stuck with one company and we've had a lot of the major companies such has Toyota, GM (Chevy/GMC/Olds etc), Dodge, and my Nissan. We just get what happens to be good for what we need, that we can afford. I think the only one we haven't owned was a Honda.

My rents really like MB's....i like them too but they are too damn expensive. We have a Ford Explorer to pull us around in the snow (like right now! ), but that is the biggest P.O.S. ever!!! (Fix Or Repair Daily is so true). ne ways...the MB's are really great cars..so strong......BUT I STILL LOVE MY NISSAN!!

Definitely a BMW family.
Mom drives a 328i, dad drives 750iL ... Don't worry, this isn't in the states where 750iLs are rare... this is back home where they're a dime a dozen and gas costs literally 4 times as much as it does in the US. My mom will probably get an Audi A4 or a new 3-series or the Jag Type-S soon though, the '95 328 is deteriorating slowly. We used to have (not all at once! ): honda Accord, Mercedes 500SEL, Nissan Cefiro (If only I knew what it was when we had it!!, Saab 9000CD, Mitsu Station Wagon, and now 3 BMWs plus the mitsu. (They're actually all company cars... we don't own any except my 240sx and my GTi)... Anyway. |

Mostly GM cars Chevelle, Chevette, Malibu, Corsica, Cavalier, and 2 Grand Ams.
Also a few Fords... a Maverick, two Escorts, and an F-150. My dad also had a '76 Datsun F10, Nissan's first FWD car in the USA. My parents don't have any sort of bias, American cars are just what's easy to get a hold of where they live. My mom also just tends to prefer the way GM cars all seem to ride and drive. |

93 Nissan 240sx SE (mine) 96 Nissan Pathfinder LE (dads... its a POS that is always needing repairs ) 98 Honda Accord EX (moms) 98 Honda Civic EX (sisters) 97 Ford Explorer Limited V8 (extra car, i love it ) i don't know what manufacturer we like... i guess it'd have to be Honda because the Pathfinder killed my parents trust in Nissans |

I think my mom could care less, as long as it runs and has plenty of room to throw her work crap on the backseat and floorboards. current: '95 Honda Accord EX-mom '95 Chevy Z-71 4x4-dad/me sometimes '87 Ford Ranger XLT (300+K and still tickin'!...work truck)-dad '92 Nissan 240SX-me, of course '7x VW Bug times 3 and buggy frame (all parts cars)-dad '70 Chevy Chevelle (needs lots of work)-me '76 Chevy Monte Carlo-storage/parts car turn-of-the-century horse buggy-storage (does that count?) past: '96 Honda Accord EX-mom, totaled '87 Chevy Suburban (mmmm....454 V8)-mom, sold '8x Olds 88-mom, sold '90 Pontiac Grand Am-me...bleh!, sold! '68 Chevy Camaro-dad (still kicking himself for selling) '8x Ford Escort-mom, sold '7x VW Sand Rail/Dune Buggy-dad, sold ...I'm sure there are more that I can't remember, but you get the idea: lots of GM and VW with a sprinkle of Honda/Nissan/Ford. |
