I have been surveying my resources recently and have figured out that I can scrape together roughly 17-19k if I absolutely must do so.

This can lead to one of many paths, but the two main paths that I'm looking at now are turning my 240hatch into a very, very respectable CA/SR powered S13, or ditching (for all practical purposes) the 180sx for an FD3S. The project would look something like this:

a) SR20DET/CA18DET with turbo upgrade (thinking along the lines of the pulsar GTI-R ball bearing T28, but may be able to go bigger/better), FMIC, appropriate fuel management, boost controller etc as well as body kit, rims, LSD, clutch, full coilovers .

or

b) 1993/4 (if possible '94+) FD3S, intake, T-back exhaust (that's TURBO-back <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> meaning incl. dpipe) and hopefully coilovers... some sort of IC if funds allow.

I put the other choices down for the sake of other crazy possibilities.

Out of your selection of cars I would either take the rx-7 or 240sx w/ sr20 (where's the Ka+t). But for my everyday life I would take the 240sx (better reliablilty and insurance) vs. if I raced a lot I would probably take the rx-7.

It really depends on how much money you have. When you buy a FD you pretty much need a extra $5000 0r so incase anything goes wrong. Also if you want a FD you need to know the rotary engine pretty well too. There is also a 3 mod rule on FD's, you can have up to 3 basic mods before you have to get a new ecu so you don't mess up the engine.

I love the RX7 though.

also, I know not a lot of people think/care about insurance...but the difference between a s13 240 and a FD RX7 is way different.

so you can have the power of the FD....and good handling, with cheapass insurance with the s13.

just something to think about. &nbsp; It's what really keeps me from getting a 300zTT. &nbsp;I like cheap insurance. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
