got the head back from th machine shop. went with bc springs and retainers. still using the stock valves ext... ill be pairing this with some his 264 cams..
i also got new hydraulic lifters... one question though,during transport one of them ended up its side, i put it in oil and did the bleeding procedure but i don't know if i did it enough.... any opinions??? also heres a random old video of when i taught my lady how to drive stick..lol |

It's possibly slag from the casting process when the head or block were made, that eventually broke off and fell down into the pan.
I'd do dual rocker arm guides while you have the cams out but that's just me. |

here are the spec of the motor
S14 SR20DET manley pistons bc springs and retainers hks 264 cams oem hydrolic lifters eagle rods full set/ acl race bearings arp head studs arp main studs apex head gasket head decked hot tanked block honed hot tanked crank balanced and micro polished had and issue putting the oil pan on because of the arp studs.. luckily i researched about how they stick up a little bit. so i shave the sections where it was hitting. |

so after weeks of thinking about what color to go with finally came with a decision. I found a shop local in fresno ca that agreed to do the work. never thought this day would of came lol as many times people told me i should paint the car i and no idea when or where i would get it done....
dropped it off at the shop and checked on it every so often |

most of you should know this art work!!! lol
while she was in the shop i sent my tails to get some one off set of tails made.. (this was at the time I'm sure a bunch of peeps have these tails now) i also decided to get my windshield wipers powder coated, something a little different you don't normally see on TWOFOURZEROS |
