Details of Comp.
Like Kat said there will be three competitions for this day.
Donut Figure 8 2nd gear course The will be a two hour practice. There will be 2 practice courses set up per different event. Meaning 2 courses for the donuts, 2 for the figure 8's, and 2 courses for the 2nd gear course. After the two hour practice there will be a 30 min break and then the first comp is the donut comp. Then another 30 min break and the the second comp is the figure 8's comp. Then another 30 min break and the last event is the 2nd gear comp. The winners will be announced at the end of the day. The judging points will be announced at the driver's meeting the morning of the event. Drivers need to arrive no later than 7:30 am at El Toro. Tech will start as soon as first driver pulls up and ends at 8:30 am. Driver's meeting is at 8:40. Practice begins at 9:00 am and ends at 11:00 am. Prizes is still TBD. Driver is allowed 2 pit crews which himself and the two pit crews will recieve a wrist band. Additional spectators of the drivers other than the two pit crew will be allowed in at an additional $5.00 spectator charge. Although this comp may seem elementary to most. It is actually a great starting point for those who want to get a feel of what a competition feels like and learn from it. Its a novice/beginner's comp and that's a very basic way to start your competitive drifting. Come on out and see what your made of. Challenge your friends to this comp and see how you guys compared with one another. For any questions please feel free to contact Kat or myself. Thanks. Jack |

I just want to know if Jack's actually gonna be competing. It's definitely worth $150 to beat Jack at two things he holds so dearly... poker, and drifting =D

Jeff you better do this.
The date is Sept. 9th Sunday sunday sunday. Kat is awesome. Also here's a update: $125 will get you the Formula Donut comp in the morning and regular drift session in the afternoon. $80 for those of you who want to just do the regular drift session and not the formula donut comp then you pay $80 to drift fromo 1pm to 5pm in the afternoon. Drivers will receive one driver wrist band and two pit crew wrist bands. All additional spectators wrist bands will be $10 each. Hope everyone understands what I just updated. If not then feel free to contact Kat or myself. Thanks. |
