one of my friends and i ranked commercial pizza in a discussion once..

pretty much from lowest quality to best quality went something like:

lil' ceasars, dominos, papa john's, straw hat/roundtable/pizza hut, and moms & pops shop type pizza (tony and albas, mountain mikes, pizza box)

I use to work for a private owned pizza place,

I can make anything better than any pizza,

they call its a Brookland, by cutting it shitty and in 6 pieces. FAIL

Ive managed both a dominos and a small one store operation that did numbers with the higest selling dominos in the city. once you have real pizza you wont ever want to eat that dominos crap again.

Domino's? Please, Pizza Hut is the best national chain. But still, if you want good pizza go to Chicago (or New York I suppose), find a single location pizza place that has been there for 100 years, with the original ovens, with the original family of owners. Pizza will never be the same afterwards.

Has anybody else ever noticed that pizza in Florida tastes like shit? I had pizza at numerous places down there and it all tasted like crap. I didnt know it was possible to make a bad tasting pizza until I stayed at a friends house in Florida for a while.

i know alabama is the black hole of the US, BUT we have a hungry howies and its really good, the crust is the best part.

as far as the new dominos pizza, its pretty damn good

There's a local pizzeria nearby and they make some really good pizza. I don't order from anybody else except them.

I stayed in Fort Myer's Beach, lived there for like a month. I had pizza at this mom and pop place in Naples and ordered delivery i think twice to the house, then we went to this "Chicago style" restaurant in Bonita, or Bonita Beach, cant remember exactly where. Bonita Springs, my parents live there in the winter. and the main problem is that chicago style pizza sucks balls
