strange thumping/tapping feeling.

Yo guys, I have searched and searched cant seem to find my specific issues, soo Ill shoot here. I have an s14 zenki with an sr swap.. I noticed when I got on the highway last night i went up to 70mph and right around that 70 or a little above. while my right arm in resting on the arm rest in the center I could feel like some tapping or thumping type of thing going on.. when i let off the gas and started falling below 70mph it went away. back to 70 again and it came back.. it feels like something is hitting something i know thats vague but cant think of much more, i looked underneath the vehicle and nothing going on.. no leaks no anything. my diff has fluid. anyone have a clue? btw car doesnt not shake or anything things are as usual only i can feel this bumping for the most part when my arm is sitting on the armrest compartment cover. not a comfortable feeling .

Transmission mount or the carrier bearing if you still have a 2-piece driveshaft. Maybe your diff bushings.

Could be a worn U-joint?

^^absolutely^^ Except if it were a u-joint, I think it would do it all the time, not at a specific speed.

^^maybe^^ but the misalignment due to wear may not be sever enough to cause a vibration, or harmonic, until drive shaft speed reaches ~70mph.

OP: If you can put the car on jack stands and run it in gear and have a look underneath, you might see where the problem lies?

^^Yes, put it on jack stands with the wheels spinning. Brilliant.

lol on my way to work today in the s14 this thumping has returned. again only happens going above 70.. noticed more sounds driving through my apartments as well.. feels like more like thuds. ans when i was driving slow through the turns in my complex i notices like beading type of noise/feeling as well while turning. hard to explain this stuff online.
