As i was going to work in the morning (I would say about.... 7 ish) I drove on to the on ramp of the freeway. At this time every one is driving fast (east bound on the 10 fwy. for you so. cal. people) because of no traffic. As I hit 70 mph on to the first lane a bird fly's by

Thinking to my self "that bird could of got hit"

Then....

BAAAAMMMMM a second bird right behind!!! Fly's right above my windshield and I hear a THUMP!

"HE GOTS DA RAFF OF DA ANTENNA YO!"

well, time for my story.

this one time coming from somewhere when i was smaller, me and my dad were talking about how my uncle hit a bird once, and then shortly after BAM on the windshield. it left a nice white powdery mark.

haha, I got one. My dad and I when I was like 14 were driving coming home on I-75 in FL in his 280zx with the t-tops off. And we're doing about 70 and all of a sudden a bird flew over and shat on the windshield, and my dad hit the wipers hahaha and it smeared, but luckily it didn't land inside the car. Still a mystery how a bird can nail a windshield doing 70 mph.

one time i was driving and there was a bird just standing in the road. i though for sure the bird would move so i made no effort to miss it... and it didn't move... i looked in my rear view mirror and there were feathers floating around...

another time my friend was driving and i was in the passenger seat and suddenly a bird slammed into the window... scared the shit out of me cuz i had just woken up. haha

The first time I hit a bird was in Missouri with the semi. I went nuts bragging about it on the radio. All the other drivers were like "big deal. happens a lot"

I catch birds all the time now. Our grilles have so much area compared to cars, its like a fishing net for birds/bugs. I hate digging them out though. Not real bloody, just don't want the bird flu.

Hit the bitch head on at like 85mph. Tore the lip off my bumper, destroyed my radiator, bent my condenser, and broke all the fins off my electric fans.

It sounded like I hit a wall but I kept going until my car overheated.

not a bird story.. but i remember seeing this lifted truck with big ass wheels and tires run over a cat! funny part, the cat molded itself to the shape of the tires and spun around a few times and ran off without a scratch! it was one of those WTF moments..

my buddy and i were going down the freeway once a while ago in his old accord and three seagulls landed infront of us to get at a mcdonalds bag and he hit all three of them at about 75 one of them got stuck around one of the rear suspension arms and we had to get it off with a power washer.

I was with my brother back in the day, and he had a toyota pickup w/ a c-notch and hydraulics, we were just rolling at normal speed, and out of nowhere a damn cat ran out from this house right in front of us, and we hit it. When we finally got to wherever we were going there was blood and fur all-over the place (truck was white) .. it was a freakin mess. --sorta felt bad for the cat.

I hit a possum once, ACtually I drove over him, and heard a loud "ding" of him hitting my muffler. I looked back and he scurried off the road.. Of course I've also ran over countless squirrels out here, and several jack-rabbits out in the AZ desert. (not intentionally, they just happen to run out) --oh and I've hit an elk. totalled my truck.
