Nismo GT 2/1.5 way diff installation warning
So I recently installed a Nismo GT 2 way LSD into my stock S13 pumpkin thinking that the straight swap would work. It does not, and only for the Nismo diff from what I can tell. If when you install the diff, set it up, and then put it in the car and once the car is put into gear, the input shaft just free spins it means that the half shafts are not the correct diameter or spline count. If you are installing the Nismo GT in a stock s13 Diff, you will need either j30, s14 kouki, or 300zx half shafts and output flanges. You will need to change the output flanges to 5 bolt, as well as the half shafts for the diff to engage correctly.
this may have been said before, but I just ran into the problem and wanted to let people here know.
