Alright so i've searched and searched and i know this is probably one of the most easiest things to do but i want to make sure i've got it right...

Please don't say i should use factory fan, factory thermostat etc.

Ok so i have duel isis electric fans and im going to wire them to a rocker switch...

I plan to run a 30amp inline fuse and a relay.

inline fuse coming off battery, other end connecting to relay (which prong??) then middle prong on rocker switch to a prong on the relay (which prong again??)

The negatives coming off the fans will be grounded to the chassy...Do i need to ground the relay?

Thanks for the pictures man, in the bottom one though i don't understand where 87 goes..

It says accessories, does that mean i have to run 87 to my fans?? or would i leave that one empty if I'm doing what I'm doing.

solder both fan possitives together, run wire from that to switch
solder both fan negatives together, run wire to chassy
power (battery) positive - inline fuse to number 30 on relay
number 85 ground to chassy (same one as where my fan grounds are, is that fine?)
number 86 to my switch (middle prong)

does that seem right? If it does, i'd rule out number 87.

yes 87 is going to the fans
86 is power to the relay from ign, if you only want power to them when the ign is on.
If you have a controll box to the fans you might want battery power. So they can cool even if the ign is turned off.

Call me dumb but I still don't understand where that goes.
How do I connect that to the fans to when my wiring is like this:

solder both fan possitives together, run wire from that to switch
solder both fan negatives together, run wire to chassy
power (battery) positive - inline fuse to number 30 on relay
number 85 ground to chassy (same one as where my fan grounds are, is that fine?)
number 86 to my switch (middle prong)

Other side of switch, any positive 12+

86 will connect to whichever power lead circuit you want to provide your switch with. For example, if you want to be able to engage your fans when your cars key in on the ACC point, connect 86 to the ACC lead or any wire that has power when ACC is on. If you want to turn on your fans whenever you want, even if the key isn't in the ignition, put it to a constant 12V lead.

87 Will connect to your + on the fans. Ground your fans to the chassis on their own.

85 will ground to the chassis near the relay

30 will connect to a constant 12V lead, meaning something that has 12V powered to it at all times. And between the two points, throw a fuse in there for safety purposes.

Why are you wiring to a manual switch instead of a thermostatic switch?

Are you running one or two relays?

I just prefer a switch.. It isn't My daily driver. I'm using 1 relay.

Update: just received the fans and radiator today.. Well It was my stupidity to not check the fans before mounting them to the dang radiator but anyways, they push air out from the motor not towards the motor like it should...

I switched the wires and it spun backwards but still didn't bring air towards the motor..

I then took out the fan itself and flipped it over.. It seemed as if it wasnt blowing away from the engine anymore but it didn't feel like it was pulling in much air towards motor???
Is it just my mind or do I have the wrong fans?

It felt like when it was pushing away from motor it was a LOT more air coming from it...

I'm so stumped.
