Turbo install?
Im installing a new turbo on my s13 sr20det. Should i remove the entire manifold, or just the turbo. its just so hard to get to the turbo bolts. any advice will be appreciated.

the enitre manifold with the turbo thats the easiest way to take it out.

Need more info...are you running a turbo that utilizies a t2 flange or do you have a t3/t4 that youll probably need a whole new manifold for anyways? Specify a little better so we can help you.

I guess i should have mentioned its a t2 flange. but either way i dont see how you can remove the turbo without the mani anyway. Anyways i got it out and i'll be throwing my new turbo on later today or tomorrow. : )

Pain in the fucking ass. You have to take the rubber hose off and attach the line to the hard line that its attached to on the intake manifold side.
Personally, I'd rather fucking cap that shit off, get an S14 water elbow and run an S14 water line. |

S14/15s doesnt use that water line in the back. The return line on S14s are on the upper water neck to the radiator. Most people I know gets ahold of a S14/15 water neck and buys S14/15 aftermarket water line.

haha thats my pic but w/e anyone can use it, anyways, I highly doubt you'll be able to install that hose with the motor in. Your best bet would be to put the motor back on a joist and move it towards the front, as much as possible.
