I might be interested. I thought the Sportlines were usually cheaper than the Pro-Kits, though... ??? Also, is that a fixed shipping rate, or just a close approximation? Thanks!!

yes its a fix rate on shipping... and the sportlines set the car lower... 2.0 in drop front and 1.7 rear on the s14. They are both eibach so its just how low you want your car... if you are into autocross i hear its better to go with pro kits.. your car wont be as low but taking turns at high speeds with the car too low cause it to bottom out on that side...

How much for the ProKits? Is that the $185 price you quoted at the top? I'm interested in those. What you're selling is the parts for the front and rear, correct? I am very ignorant about these suspension kits, so I have a couple of questions.
Will I need to replace my struts w/ aftermarket in order for these springs to work, or will I be able to use my existing struts? Are the springs something that I (and my bf) be able to install ourselves, or will I need to pay someone to install them? I'm just wanting to make sure that if I go in w/ this group deal, that I won't have to buy more parts (for example struts) or spend a crapload trying to get the to work w/ my car. Thanks

lol. And when we get too frustrated and neither of us know what to do, we'll just go out for a beer.

These eibach springs are for lowering your car. You only need these, no other parts. You need to rent a spring compressor from Autozone (unless you own one, but never try to remove springs without one) which is around 30-50 bucks and you get your money back. I would find someone that has done it before to help and be sure to right down the order of the parts you take off your car. You have to remove your stock strut and springs and replace the stock springs with these. Once these are in you will have a lower stance and a tighter suspension.

When is the group deal ending? I need to make sure I'll have enough of my tax refund left after getting my car outta the shop.

Anyways, all you need is the right sockets and ratchets (preferably impact ratchets to make the job easier, but not necessary), and a spring compressor. It is always a good idea to change the shocks out with the springs, as it may not be worth the hassle to do things twice. |
