who cares yes the movie will suck. yes kids w/ civics will wreck trying to drift. yes they will all bow to us who can actually drift. cops wont look for us more cops are already looking at us. dont be stupid and you have nothing to worry about. and hopefully it will make drifting more popular because then i can get a drift event closer to me then 4-6 huors away. i dont get why everyone gets so protective over drifting. its not like any of us invented it we all saw it at some point and decided to try it and yes when any of us first tried we sucked to. shit most of us still suck but as long as we respect it and are smart and safe about it then its all good its only the stupid kids that are going to get fucked and fuck up their cars but guess what those kids are already everywhere

oh and about break ins thats just unfortunate but its already happened and this movie hasnt happend yes so cant blame the movie alarm systems and tricky relays to turn off you fuel pump when u get out of the car can easily prevent theft of the car. as for parts well our cars are just to easy to break into so gauges and s afc's are in danger

i wouldnt worry about f&f3, prices will jump for awhile but what do we care, we all allready have our cars and anyway it will settle down just as fast as it began. not to mention the cars showcased in the movie are absolutly rediculous like rx8s and 350zs so ricers will just forget about it because they spent all there money on blingin lights and phat mufflers.

I'll be taking my 7 year old son to see it since he likes the first two. It'll be entertaining none the less. Good for a laugh I'm sure. I don't know why people get so upset when these movies come out trying to act so "proactive". There are many more issues going on in this world to be proactive about other than a drifting movie. Grow up, man.

(i'm too lazy to read 4 pages so if some points have already been said, stick with me here)

I don't think that this movie will have NEAR the effect that the first F&F had on civics, the reason for this is the (at least here in canada) there are at least 50 (maybe 100) Civics to every 1 240sx (s13 and s14).

Also the resale on 240's here is pretty high, which will hopefully keep them out of the hands of some ricers, and stock 240's don't kick out overly well, espically 12 valvers (don't hate me haha)

And last but not least, the resale value of my car will go up at least $3g's, and i don't mind too much (not that i'm going to sell my car, it's just funny).

Maybe we'll get lucky and all these kids will just stick to RX-7's........
