ECUs "NA" vs "WC"

Hey Ladies and Gents, how much of a difference is the NA ecu versus the WC ecu for an S14 SR20? I'm hearing I can use either....not sure I know all the details about that though to go buy a new ecu in either marking. I'm a bit gun shy and could use some forum love.

Any help is better than what I've got ATM.

Thanks!

They're different. Buy the right one (NA should be for kouki SR20 with the fins on the head, WC I believe is the zenki)

My understanding is that the WC can be used for either motor but the NA is only for the Kouki and isn't backward compatible. In any case, thanks for the thread love. I was hoping for more of an in-depth understanding but I'll take what I can get. Thanks bro.

if u have an na s14
thats a type 5 ecu
therefore its not compatable with other sr ecu
if u r stuck with no ecu
use a s14 ka24de ecu with engine harness
u need the knock sensor harness from ka
and all u would have to do is wire up iacv
i have a s13 na sr runing of a s13 ka ecu
with no problems

I know it's only been 30 minutes but you could not get back to me sooner! LOL!

Somehow I have a "WE" coded ECU which is for an automatic.
