I have a '90 fb 240sx. Question 1 - I've seen these "ultrawhite" bulbs for sale everywhere, claiming to be cheap alternatives to HID kits. Do they work? Has anyone used them? Do they look good?
Also - I'm about to have $700 to spend. I was thinking of spending it on the Eibach Prokit and KBY AGX shocks (if i got the letters wrong it's cause 6 letters in a row don't make any sense as a word) combo from PDM, but I see mvp motorsports has an APEXi N1 damper kit. Do they do a drop on the 240? What else would I need to use them (the prokit combo apparently needs camber bolts and bushings). Thanks! Chase |

"ultrawhite" bulbs are typically regular bulbs with a blue tint. Ass in a socket, don't gettem <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

First off, I'd like to say that I have the PIAA Xtreme Super White bulbs. They work fine. Nice white light. However, I probably will just get normal bulbs next time (I have the H4 conversion on my car). Get the conversion kit first, and then think about the bulbs.
Did you find these N1 coilovers used? There's no way you can get new ones for $700. Maybe $1700. The World Sport ones, maybe, but not the N1. I'd say in your case, start with some Konis or KYB AGX and some decent springs. Then get some Whiteline or Suspension Techniques sway bars. Then some strut bars. Then some bushings. Then...and then...and then...... It will kill your wallet. Trust me. Eric
